Welcome to our class registration area! We are delighted that you have chosen to learn or further enhance your craft with us. We have a fantastic and diverse group of instructors ready to share their fibre knowledge
A bit about our teaching style…Our classes are small, with six students at the most. We focus on project-based courses that allow you to create something while also jump starting or enhancing your stitching skills. Unless otherwise indicated, our classes are for adults. If you are interested in children's classes, select that option from the browse menu above or contact us to set up a private children's lesson.
Which class is the right fit?
We offer classes for every level of knitter, crocheter and spinner…even those who haven’t yet picked up needles, hook or spindle. Each class has a “rating” that indicates the skills that you must have to take the class. Each course then lists the skills that you will learn. Jump on over and search by level to find out where you are on the fibre space stitch-o-meter and what classes are offered at that level. If you still aren't sure, just give us a buzz! 703-664-0344
If you are looking for something specific, use our browse button to search by project type or click on over to the search feature at the top of the page to type in keywords such as “intarsia” or “increasing.”
What about supplies?
While supplies are not included in the price of the class, we find that almost all of our classes can be taken with between $15 and $30 in supplies. Our shop offers a wide variety of yarns and needles to fit many budgets and fibre preferences. Students will receive a 5% discount on class supplies and anything else purchased at that time. Just let us know that you are in one of our classes when you check out! And our introduction to knitting and crochet students get a 10% discount to welcome you into the fibre fold!

Nothing fits my schedule. Now what?
If nothing is fitting your needs or schedule, no worries! We offer private and semiprivate lessons and private events or parties. To set up a private lesson, simply email us with your availability and what you would like to learn.
