Description

Get comfortable with color work with this popular hat. This timeless pattern is great for a first color work project or to teach more advanced finishing techniques to those with a few stranded projects already under their belts.

Two 2 hour class. Class skips Feb 20th.

Materials:

  • 110 yards in each of two colors of sport weight yarn. We suggest de rerum natura Ulysse or Lux Adorna Cashmere Sport.

  • US#3 (3.25 mm) 16" circular needles

  • US#1.5 (2.5 mm) 16" circular needles

  • US#3 (3.25 mm) double pointed needles

  • scrap yarn

  • crochet hook for the provisional cast on. Exact size doesn't matter here, anything from the hook end of a Fix-A-Stitch up through a midsize hook will work.

  • stitch markers

  • tapestry needle

  • copy of We Call Them Pirates pattern, available for free on Ravelry

Please come with your materials assembled and ready to knit.
