Take your basic skills to the next level with this women’s beret or men’s cap project.
One three hour class
Skills Needed:
This class is rated “funky” – the ability to knit and purl is required.
Skills Learned:

working in the round on circular and double points
Materials:
For women’s beret:
1 ball Ella Rae Superwash Chunky or 2 hanks Blue Sky Alpacas Worsted Hand Dyes or 105-120 yards of any aran or chunky weight yarn
US#9 (5.5mm) 16" circular needles
US#9 (5.5mm) double points
darning needle
stitch markers (in two colors)
For men’s cap:
1 skein each of two colors of Blue Sky Alpacas Worsted Hand Dyes or 200 yards of aran or chunky weight yarn
US#10 (6mm) 16" circular needles
US#10 (6 mm) double-pointed needles

Preparation:
Be sure to come to the shop early enough to have your supplies purchased and your yarn wound into balls before the start of class. For women's beret, cast on 56 stitches on your circular needles. For men's cap, cast on 80 stitches on your circular needles.
