This quick crash course will show you how to cable like a pro, while starting a chunky cabled scarf.
One three hour class

Skills Needed:
This class is rated “funky” – the ability to knit and purl is required.

Skills Learned:

  • refresh your knowledge of the rib stitch

  • create cables

  • read cable charts



Materials:

  • approximately 520 yards of chunky weight yarn such as Berroco Peruvia Quick

  • US #11 (8mm) 24" circular needles

  • large cable needle

  • Copy of Cinder pattern available in print at the shop or online here



Preparation:
Cast on 48 stitches and work the first 7 rows of the pattern (K2, P2 rib).
