Jumpstart your knitting hobby and learn all of the basics in our three week class. You will learn to knit your own scarf!

Materials:

250-300 yards worsted weight wool, wool blend or other natural fiber in a light color. We suggest Stonehedge Fiber Mill Shepherd's Wool, Neighborhood Fiber Company Studio Worsted, or Ella Rae Superwash.

US#8 (5mm) or #9(5.5mm) needles, straight or circular

darning needle

Optional Materials:

For a fun and fuzzy scarf, substitute the yarn and needles above for:
250 yards of any hand dyed worsted weight wool, one skein Neighborhood Fiber Co Loft and US #9 (5.5mm) or #10 (6mm) needles

*We recommend that you do not use straight metal needles, cotton or acrylic fibers or dark colors.

Preparation
Be sure to come to the shop early enough to have your supplies purchased and your yarn wound into balls before the start of class.
